Liberty Twp. Recycling Challenge

Plastic Update 11/20/19:

Wow! With the help of all of our residents and neighbors, as of November 2019 we have collected over 1,500 pounds of recyclable plastic! We are looking forward to receiving our third TREX bench. Next time you stop at the municipal building, check out our green TREX bench in the vestibule - made with over 46,000 plastic bags! Plastic collection will continue through 2020 at the Liberty Township Municipal Building.

Not sure what to recycle? Here are some plastic recycling tips:

Bags that say #2 or #4 only (no #5 or #7)
No saran wrap
Do the stretch test - if it rips when you stretch, it cannot be recycled.
Absolutely NO Food residue, wet bags or garbage
